As part of the government’s outreach to the international community regarding the fight against terror and Operation Sindoor following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, an all-party parliamentary delegation headed by Supriya Sule, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar, arrived in Qatar late Saturday.

The delegation includes former diplomat Syed Akbaruddin, Telugu Desam Party leader Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu, Aam Aadmi Party leader Vikramjeet Singh Sawhney, Congress leaders Manish Tewari and Anand Sharma, BJP leaders Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Anurag Thakur, and V. Muraleedharan, and Sule, the NCP-SP’s working president. Additionally, it will visit Ethiopia, Egypt, and South Africa.

Vipul, the Indian ambassador to Qatar, met Supriya Sule, Anand Sharma, Rajeev Pratap Rudy, and Anurag Thakur at the airport in Qatar.

“Taking India’s strong message against terrorism to the world! A warm welcome to the multi-party delegation led by @Supriya_sule to Qatar. Ambassador @vipulifs received the delegation. @MEAIndia,” it said in another post on X.

Randhir Jaiswal, a spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, shared the message. Qatar has a position as a mediator in regional disputes and is regarded as having influence in West Asia.

“The multi-party Indian team, headed by Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule, is arriving in Doha today for a two-day visit scheduled for May 24-26, 2025. Their trip to four countries—Qatar, South Africa, Ethiopia, and Egypt—begins with this stop. The delegation will engage with Qatari authorities in Doha, as well as representatives of the academic community and media. The visit is being held in light of the Pahalgam terrorist incident in India on April 22, Operation Sindoor, and the events that followed. The members of the visiting delegation include MPs from both Houses of Parliament, former Ministers and diplomats,” the Indian Embassy in Qatar said in a press statement.

“The leaderships of Qatar and India have maintained communication since the Pahalgam terrorist assault. On May 6, Prime Minister Modi spoke with H.H. Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the amir of the State of Qatar, over the phone about the events.

On May 7, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar also called Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim Al-Thani. The Embassy stated in the statement that Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs had expressed Qatar’s strong rejection and condemnation of the terrorist assault in Pahalgam in its statement on April 23.

“Have left for Doha with other lawmakers on a four-leg tour to South Africa, Ethiopia, Egypt, and Qatar to inform them of India’s stance on terrorism sponsored by Pakistan.” In order to create international unity in the battle against terrorism, we will be meeting with institutions, political leaders, and thinkers throughout the course of these twelve exhausting days. Anurag Thakur, a member of this all-party group presently in Qatar, remarked, “Jai Hind INDIA.”

After visiting South Africa, which now serves as the G-20 Presidency, the Sule-led team will proceed to Ethiopia, which is also home to the African Union.

Egypt, a significant Arab nation, will be visited by the delegation.

The delegation is one of seven multi-party delegations sent by India to 33 major cities around the world in an effort to engage the international community, highlight Pakistan’s ties to terrorism, and demonstrate that the Pahalgam terror strike—rather than Operation Sindoor, as claimed by Islamabad—was what started the most recent conflict.

In response to the Pahalgam terror assault on April 22, which claimed 26 lives, the military initiated Operation Sindoor on May 7.

India hopes to strengthen international support for its recent military and diplomatic actions under Operation Sindoor and foster worldwide agreement on its anti-terrorism posture through these high-level meetings.

Shashi Tharoor, who is heading a delegation of the Members of Parliament, arrived in Guyana on Sunday on the second leg of the mission to expound India’s anti-terrorism message and Operation Sindoor’s goals.

The all-party delegation includes MPs Shashi Tharoor (INC), Shambhavi (LJP – Ram Vilas), Sarfaraz Ahmad (JMM), GM Harish Balayogi (TDP), Shashank Mani Tripathi (BJP), Bhubaneswar Kalita (BJP), Milind Murli Deora (Shiv Sena), and Tejasvi Surya (BJP), along with Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu.

“It is Guyana’s 59th Independence Day tomorrow (Monday), and we will be present at the midnight speech by the President (Irfaan Ali) tonight,” Tharoor said in an X post announcing his arrival.

The crew came here following a Saturday stop in New York, where they met with think tankers and academics and saw the 9/11 Memorial at the World Trade Center, which represents America’s fight against terrorism.

According to the Indian High Commission in Georgetown, Guyana’s capital, “The delegation will be interacting with the Guyanese leadership and key interlocutors from media, Indian community and diaspora, and friends of India in Guyana.” The lawmakers will highlight “our strong message of unity and brotherhood as well as India’s collective resolve to fight against the scourge of terrorism,” it stated.

After visiting Panama, Colombia, and Brazil, the squad will return to the United States on June 3 for meetings in Washington.

Following the slaughter of 26 civilians at Pahalgam by The Resistance Front, an associate of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba, the delegation led by Tharoor is one of seven groups of MPs traveling to 33 countries to represent India.

Nine terrorist facilities in Pakistan and the parts of Kashmir that it controls were hit by India.

The conflict then escalated as a result of Pakistan’s attack on India, which targeted civilian buildings such as medical facilities and houses of worship, including gurudwaras, temples, and convents.

The team, which is led by Tharoor of the opposition Congress Party and consists of Milind Murli Deora of the Shiv Sena, Sarfaraz Ahmad of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, and Shambhavi of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), emphasizes the unity of the country against terrorism.

BJP MP Surya said on X, “Guyana holds a special place in India’s foreign relations, with nearly 40 per cent of its population being of Indian origin.” He added that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, “our longstanding ties have only strengthened over the past decade.”

JMM MP Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmad emphasized the initiative’s bipartisan nature. “We have a purpose for coming here. The delegation is multi-party and all-party. The administration called all-party meetings headed by the home and defense ministers in response to the latest attack in Pahalgam. Action was urged by all Indians, regardless of political affiliation. That united stand includes this outreach,” he stated.

As part of a high-level diplomatic outreach effort against terrorism, an all-party Indian parliamentary delegation headed by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda landed in Bahrain.

Beginning with a multi-nation journey that includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria, the visit aims to fortify India’s regional ties and underscore the nation’s resolute opposition to cross-border terrorism.

Ambassador Harsh Shringla will go to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria with the team, which also includes Baijayant Panda, BJP MP; Nishikant Dubey, BJP MP; Phangnon Konyak, BJP MP; Rekha Sharma, BJP MP; Asaduddin Owaisi, AIMIM MP; Satnam Singh Sandhu, Nominated MP; and Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Taking to X, the Indian Embassy in Bahrain posted, “Hon’ble MP Baijayant Panda led All-Party Delegation met H.E. Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, the Chairman Shura Council, Bahrain and underscored India’s resolve to fight against terrorism and strengthen bilateral ties.”

“Together in the fight against terrorism, Baijayant Jay Panda and other members of the All-Party Delegation called on Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa. Meeting discussed matters of mutual interest & India’s commitment to combat terrorism in all its forms,” the Embassy said in another post.

The delegation also went to Bab Al Bahrain, a famous landmark in Manama, later that day.

During their visit to Bahrain, the Indian lawmakers also engaged with the local diaspora and communicated India’s steadfast and united stance against terrorism.

Taking to X, BJP MP Panda said, “Our Indian diaspora has succeeded globally, and this makes us all very proud. Today, along with my esteemed colleagues from the all-party delegation, we engaged with the Indian community in Bahrain and conveyed India’s unified and unwavering stance against terrorism”

Asaduddin Owaisi, an AIMIM MP and member of the delegation led by Jay Panda, gave an overview of the tour’s itinerary and spoke to the larger regional background.

“We will be going to Bahrain. Then we will be going to Kuwait, then Saudi Arabia and lastly Algeria. Now, it’s evident that the recent incident in Pahalgam was a tragic one, and for many years, as you and I both know, our neighbouring country, Pakistan, has been running terrorist camps on its own soil, providing them with shelter and support. These terrorists then cross over into our country to carry out attacks. We will be visiting these four countries to present these concerns and realities before them,” Owaisi said.

Beginning with a multi-nation journey that includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria, the visit aims to fortify India’s regional ties and underscore the nation’s resolute opposition to cross-border terrorism.

In order to demonstrate India’s unified and uncompromising position against cross-border terrorism supported by Pakistan, the Indian delegation will now travel to Kuwait (May 26–27).

Senior dignitaries from the Kuwaiti government, well-known figures from civil society, influencers, think tanks, the media, and a variety of Indian diaspora members will all be connecting with the leaders there.

In order to introduce “Lakadbaggha: The Prologue,” a comic book version of the 2023 vigilante action movie “Lakadbaggha,” which stars Anshuman Jha, Bollywood actor and animal lover John Abraham has been recruited on board.

Neeraj Chopra, a two-time Olympic medallist from India, finished second in the javelin throw at the Janusz Kusocinski Memorial event on Friday in Chorzów, Poland. Neeraj was unable to duplicate his season-best performance from the Doha Diamond League, where he had previously won a silver medal, despite winning his third medal of the year.

The Indian Embassy in Moscow announced on Friday that the third high-level, all-party delegation, headed by DMK MP Kanimozhi, had arrived in Moscow and highlighted India’s resolute efforts to combat terrorism in all of its manifestations.

It also stated that Vinay Kumar, India’s ambassador to Russia, received the delegation.

“All-Party Delegation led by Member of Parliament Kanimozhi Karunanidhi @KanimozhiDMK arrives in Moscow to convey India’s strong resolve to fight terrorism in all its forms,” a statement by the Indian Embassy in Moscow said on Friday morning in a post on X.

As part of its worldwide outreach campaign on Operation Sindoor, which exposes Pakistan and the terrorist organizations operating off of its territory, the Indian government has dispatched this third delegation.

“On arrival at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport the Members of Parliament Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Rajeev Rai, Captain Brijesh Chowta, Prem Chand Gupta, Ashok Kumar Mittal, Ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri, welcomed by Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation H.E. Vinay Kumar,” the statement by the Indian Embassy in Moscow said on Friday morning in a post on X.

It further added, “A busy schedule of meetings and interactions awaits them in Moscow on May 23-24, 2025.”

Earlier in a post on X, the Indian Embassy in Moscow said, “In the context of the Indian government’s continued efforts under Operation Sindoor and in furtherance of India’s principled and resolute stand against the menace of terrorism, an All-Party Delegation comprising Members of Parliament and a senior diplomat is undertaking a visit to the Russian Federation from May 22 to May 24, 2025. The delegation would carry forth the country’s strong message of zero-tolerance for terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.”

It added, “During the course of their stay in Moscow, the delegation will be interacting with senior dignitaries from the Federation Council (Upper House) and the State Duma (Lower House) of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other key interlocutors in think tanks and media.”

The delegation, led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, includes former Indian Ambassadors to the EU, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Nepal, Samajwadi Party MP Rajeev Rai, BJP MP Captain Brijesh Chowta (Retd.), RJD MP Prem Chand Gupta, and AAP MP Ashok Kumar Mittal. Additionally, there is former Deputy Permanent Representative of India to the UN, Ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri.

On Thursday, Kanimozhi posted on X before departing for Moscow, saying: “Leaving with the members of the delegation to Moscow. @RajeevRai @CaptBrijesh @DrAshokKMittal @ambmanjeevpuri @JawedAshraf5 @MianAltafAhmad.”

India’s national unity and unwavering commitment to fighting terrorism in all of its forms and manifestations would be portrayed by the all-party delegation. It will send a clear message to the rest of the world that terrorism will not be tolerated.

Operation Sindoor was started by India in reaction to the terror assault in Pahalgam.India targeted terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) with precision strikes.Subsequent Pakistani aggression was successfully countered by the Indian Armed Forces, who also bombarded its air bases.

In an effort to forge international unity against terrorism and isolate Pakistan and the terror-backed organizations that operate and support terrorism from its territory, India has begun its global campaign known as “Operation Sindoor Outreach,” sending its first two groups of high-level, multi-party delegations to Japan and the United Arab Emirates as part of a five-nation tour.

Shrikant Shinde, a Shiv Sena MP, is leading the second group that departed the nation’s capital on Wednesday.

Shinde’s group is scheduled to travel to the United Arab Emirates, Liberia, Congo, and Sierra Leone. BJD’s Sasmit Patra, IUML MP E.T. Mohammed Basheer, BJP leader S.S. Ahluwalia, former Ambassador Sujan Chinoy, and BJP MPs Bansuri Swaraj, Atul Garg, and Manan Kumar Mishra are among them.

Shinde stated that the squad as a whole has a fantastic opportunity to convey the message of India.

“Terrorism will not be tolerated at all! As part of India’s diplomatic outreach on #OperationSindoor, the first batch of the All Party Delegation, headed by JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, has left for a five-nation tour. To reaffirm India’s commitment to fighting terrorism in all of its manifestations, the delegation will go to Indonesia, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and Singapore”, MEA Spokesperson Jaiswal stated.

Between May 21 and June 5, up to seven of these delegations—which will include 59 members of parliament, former ministers, and diplomats—will be sent to 33 different nations. India’s first-ever united political front to combat global terror narratives is this initiative, which is led by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

In his personal briefing to the delegations, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri emphasized India’s changing posture and said, “India has had to deal with cross-border terrorism for forty years. There is no room for ambiguity or appeasement in our reaction today, which reflects the new normal”.

The recent proposal from Pakistan for a joint probe into the Pahalgam terror attack was deemed “absurd” by Misri. “Asking Pakistan to co-investigate terror attacks on Indian soil is like asking the thief to investigate his own crimes,” he said.

Evidence from the recent Operation Sindoor, which targeted terror launchpads across the Line of Control (LoC), is among the sensitive intelligence dossiers carried by each squad.

In addition to protecting its borders, India is influencing international discourse by implementing Operation Sindoor, which calls for the elimination of terrorist safe havens and their enablers must be held accountable.

Seven high-level delegations, including 59 Members of Parliament, former ministers, diplomats, and senior political figures, will visit 33 countries in between May 21 and June 5 as part of this historic worldwide campaign, which is being organized by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

The campaign’s main goals are to isolate Pakistan globally by exposing its continuous backing for terrorist networks and to show a united Indian front against terrorism.

The MPs will interact with international organizations, such as the UN, as well as foreign governments, lawmakers, the media, civil society, and the Indian diaspora.

The program, which aims to foster international agreement against state-sponsored terrorism, is among India’s most robust and well-coordinated foreign outreach initiatives in recent years.

The administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made the decision to send multi-party MP delegations to important worldwide cities in an enormous diplomatic effort to reveal Pakistan’s role in the recent Pahalgam terror incident and to garner international solidarity against cross-border terrorism.

The touring delegations also include a number of other MPs, such as Asaduddin Owaisi, Chandigarh MP Manish Tewari, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Tejasvi Surya, and Anurag Thakur of the BJP.

According to sources, the decision to send the team of MPs coincides with Pakistan’s growing efforts to internationalize the Kashmir dispute, which India maintains is a bilateral problem, as well as significant statements made by US President Donald Trump.

For the first time, the Modi administration has sent out elected officials from all political parties as diplomatic envoys to combat Pakistan’s propaganda internationally.

The two main goals will be to inform countries about the terrible Pahalgam incident, which claimed 26 lives, and to make it clear that India’s “Operation Sindoor” targeted terror infrastructure, not civilians, in areas that are under Pakistani occupation.

According to a senior official involved in the preparation, “the goal is to dispel the narrative being propagated by Pakistan and its supporters.”

The delegations will also highlight how Pakistan’s punitive actions during “Operation Sindoor” only serve to highlight the country’s active support of and shelter for terrorist organizations. In addition to diplomatically isolating Pakistan, the global diplomatic offensive aims to fortify India’s standing in front of important international fora and bilateral meetings.
