Tesla opens its Model Y portfolio at its first experience center in Bengaluru

In a significant move towards its expansion aspirations in India, Tesla, which is supported by Elon Musk, launched its first experience center on Thursday in the Whitefield area of Bengaluru.
The new facility, located in the city’s technology center, will now allow customers to experience the Model Y and the just-released Model Y L, which starts at Rs 61. 99 lakh (ex-showroom).
As interest in electric mobility in the nation grows, Tesla has announced the opening of its after-sales service network in Whitefield in order to enhance ownership support for its Bengaluru clients.
The company claims that the six-seater electric SUV, the Model Y L, has a range of 681 km (WLTP) and is able to go from 0 to 100 km/h in about five seconds.
Designed for families looking for more interior room and comfort, the electric SUV has a three-row seating arrangement and a maximum cargo capacity of 2,539 liters.
In addition, Tesla claimed that numerous international safety organizations, such Euro NCAP in Europe, NHTSA and IIHS in the United States, and ANCAP in Australia and New Zealand, have given the Model Y and Model Y L the highest possible safety scores.
The business also stated that the Model Y L may gain up to 288 kilometers of range with just 15 minutes of charging via Tesla Supercharging.
In addition, it stated that, in order to make things simpler for EV users, home charging support will also be offered in India.
Orders for the Model Y L are now being accepted via the company’s website.
Tesla runs experience centers in Mumbai’s BKC, Delhi’s Aerocity, and Gurugram, in addition to Bengaluru.
