He asked all G20 nations to participate in the AI Impact Summit, which India will organize in February 2026 with the theme “Sarvajanam Hitaya, Sarvajanam Sukhaya” (Welfare for all, Happiness for all).

To make AI safer and more accessible for consumers, the US tech giant introduced text watermarking, on-device real-time anti-scam technologies, and digital literacy initiatives.

According to the company’s statement, Scam Detection, powered by Gemini Nano, will be implemented on Pixel phones to analyze calls in real time and identify possible frauds completely on-device, without recording audio, transcripts, or sharing data with Google.

It further stated that the Scam Detection feature is off by default, only applies to calls from unknown numbers (not saved contacts), beeps to alert participants, and may be disabled by the user.

Additionally, Google said that it is providing the SynthID text watermarking tool as an open-source part of its Responsible GenAI Toolkit and expanding the availability of SynthID Detector. Partners can recognize AI-generated photos and sounds thanks to the watermarking technique.

The 7th Meeting of the National Security Advisors (NSAs) of the Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) is scheduled to take place in New Delhi on Thursday.

NSA Ajit Doval will host his colleagues from Bangladesh, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, among other member states. Malaysia has been invited as a guest, and the Seychelles will take part as an observer state.

According to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), “the CSC was formed to promote closer cooperation between Member States on vital matters of security and to strengthen partnership for enhancing regional security in the Indian Ocean region.”

According to the ministry, the 7th Meeting of the NSAs will provide an opportunity for participants to review the activities under the various pillars of cooperation, such as Maritime Safety and Security; Countering Terrorism and Radicalization; Combating Transnational Organized Crime; Cyber Security and Protection of Critical Infrastructure and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief; and to discuss the Roadmap and Action Plan for 2026.

According to media sources in Dhaka, earlier on Wednesday, Bangladesh’s National Security Advisor (NSA), Khalilur Rahman, paid a visit to his Indian counterpart, Ajit Doval, during a lengthy discussion in New Delhi.

For easy user access, database collation has been automated through APIs, and seamless data extraction capabilities have been established to extract and download nation and commodity data.

India and Russia have held high-level talks to investigate potential cooperation, including shipbuilding, trade, economic, scientific, and technical cooperation.

In the meantime, Russian officials met with Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal in Moscow to discuss the planned India-Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Free Trade Agreement.

At the Asian Archery Championships 2025 here on Friday, India’s men’s recurve team defeated Korea in the final to take home the gold. Six gold medals were won by the Indian archers, including a historic one in the men’s individual recurve.

In the men’s recurve team competition at the championships, this was India’s first gold since 2007. Since 2013, Korea has won every tournament.

Through a shoot-off, the Indian team, which included Rahul, Atanu Das, and Yashdeep Sanjay Bhoge, won by a narrow 5-4 margin. In the shoot-off, both teams fired 29 shots each, but Rahul’s arrow was closest to the center, giving India the gold.

The Korean pair of Jang Minhee and Seo Mingi defeated Anshika Kumari and Yashdeep’s recurve mixed team in the bronze medal match.

In the men’s individual recurve, Rahul received silver after losing to fellow Indian Dhiraj Bommadevara in the final, while Deepshikha, Jyothi Surekha Vennam, and Prithika Pradeep’s team won gold.

The third edition of the yearly Indian Military Heritage Festival (IMHF), which showcases the various facets and endeavors of the Indian armed forces, will kick off in the nation’s capital on Friday.

Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth will open the two-day event, which is being hosted by the United Service Institution of India, on November 14 and 15.

The IMHF aims to serve as a platform for multi-stakeholder dialogue and engagement among the three Services, administrators and diplomats, academia and think-tanks, private and public industry, and the general public, with a focus on promoting discussions on India’s military history and legacy as well as issues related to national security and geopolitics, the official stated in a statement.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman discussed over the third pre-budget engagement with micro, small, and medium-sized business (MSME) stakeholders on Wednesday.

A statement from the Finance Ministry said that the discussion was related to the upcoming Union Budget 2026–2027.

“Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs @nsitharaman chairs the third Pre-Budget Consultation with the stakeholders from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises #MSMEs in connection with the forthcoming Union Budget 2026-27, in New Delhi, today,” stated the Ministry in a post on X.

Senior representatives from the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises as well as Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary also attended the meeting.

An automobile registered in Haryana that was parked close to Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station detonated on Monday night, killing at least eight persons and injuring several more.

After Union Home Minister Amit Shah assessed the investigation and multi-state searches being carried out in the Delhi bomb blast case on Tuesday and reaffirmed Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s determination to bring the perpetrators to justice, the matter was turned over to the NIA.

HM Shah met with senior security officers at his home and gave them strong directives to uncover the conspiracy as soon as possible.

Investigators have made significant progress in the Red Fort blast investigation by confirming that Dr. Umar Mohammad, a prominent physician at Al Falah University in Faridabad, was operating the i20 vehicle that exploded on November 10 close to Red Fort, killing eight people and injuring at least twenty more.

DNA test findings definitively proved Umar’s identity, according to Delhi Police sources. There was no question regarding his presence in the car at the time of the explosion because his DNA sample 100% matched those of his mother and brother. Bone fragments, teeth, and pieces of clothes that were found inside the mutilated remains of the i20 were used to extract the DNA.

Around 6:52 p.m. on Monday, there was a strong explosion that sent shockwaves through the capital and prompted security alarms. Concern over the breach in the high-security area around the Red Fort was raised by the explosion, which happened near one of India’s most famous monuments.

Following the incident, the Delhi Police’s Special Cell has officially turned over the investigation to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The location has been roped off by NIA authorities, who are also performing forensic analyses of the wreckage, including digital data, car parts, and explosive residues.

According to preliminary investigations, high-grade improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were used to rig the vehicle. Investigators are currently trying to map Umar’s travels in the days preceding the explosion and tracking the source of the explosives.

According to sources, Umar had left his Faridabad home earlier that day, telling his coworkers that he was in Delhi for a personal engagement. Whether he operated alone or in concert with a bigger network is being investigated by the authorities.

The explosion on November 10 occurred just hours after two residential properties in Faridabad, Haryana, were found to contain around 3,000 kg of explosives by the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
