On Ram Navami, PM Modi invokes the principles of Lord Ram for “Viksit, Aatmanirbhar Bharat”

On the occasion of Ram Navami, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the populace on Thursday and prayed for the well-being of everyone, hoping that the grace of Lord Ram would lead the nation towards the aim of a ‘Viksit’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat‘.
Lord Ram, worshiped in Hinduism as the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, was born on Ram Navami. The festival takes place during the nine-day Chaitra Navratri celebration and is seen as a time to contemplate principles like truth, compassion, and justice.
The Prime Minister wished his fellow countrymen throughout the country “unlimited best wishes on the occasion of Ram Navami” in a tweet. We are encouraged to approach every circumstance with all of our might by the life of Maryada Purushottam, which is characterized by sacrifice, austerity, and moderation.
For all time, his ideals will serve as a guide for all of mankind as well as the people of India. With the blessing of Lord Ram, I hope that the welfare of all may be ensured, paving the way for the realization of our commitment to a Viksit and Aatmanirbhar Bharat, he said.
Lord Ram is widely revered as a representation of righteousness, truth, and responsibility, and millions of people are still motivated by his life to live a life guided by moral principles and ethical behavior. He is frequently seen as the perfect leader and person, representing justice, discipline, and virtue.
Temples all throughout the nation saw significant crowds of worshippers praying and taking part in ceremonies on the occasion. Religious processions, Ramayana recitations, devotional singing, and fasting are common observances.
The Prime Minister also sent greetings on the eighth day of Chaitra Navratri, which is devoted to Goddess Mahagauri, earlier in the day.
Mother Mahagauri’s feet are covered in millions of greetings! He tweeted on X, “May her divine aura infuse everyone’s life with joy, prosperity, and good health. ”
Mahagauri, the eighth manifestation of Goddess Durga, is worshiped during Navratri on Maha Ashtami and represents chastity, peace, and elegance. She is traditionally shown riding a bull with a bright white skin and is thought to purify sins while bestowing tranquility, wealth, and health upon her followers.
