Rozgar Melas: Over 10 lakh recruiting letters have been sent out thus far

According to the government, more than 10 lakh recruitment letters have been sent out through Rozgar Melas nationwide thus far.
February 2024 saw the largest distribution of more than one lakh appointment letters in a single day. There have been sixteen Rozgar Melas held nationwide thus far.
On October 22, 2022, the inaugural Rozgar Mela was held. More than 75,000 recruits received their appointment letters at this first event.
On November 22, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi used video conferencing to distribute about 71,000 appointment letters to recently hired employees in more than 45 cities for the second edition.
During the 16th Rozgar Mela on Saturday, PM Modi gave out more than 51,000 appointment letters to young people who had just been hired by government agencies and ministries.
In order to assist young people in joining different Central Government Ministries and Departments, the Rozgar Mela was held at 47 places throughout the nation.
The new hires have joined a number of agencies, including the Ministry of Labor and Employment, the Department of Financial Services, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Department of Posts, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Railways.
This program is a component of the government’s continuous endeavors to increase employment prospects and fortify the labor force nationwide.
The Rozgar Melas cater to a variety of academic backgrounds, including those who have finished the eighth, tenth, and twelfth grades as well as ITI, diploma, and graduate degrees. Its primary target demographic is young people between the ages of 18 and 35. According to the government, this also includes qualified and trained applicants who fulfill the requirements of the National Skills Qualifications Framework.
Through a variety of platforms, including print ads, bulk SMS, social media, and workshops at colleges and institutions in the area surrounding the event, job seekers are encouraged and informed about the Rozgar Mela.
Mudra Loan Facilitation Counters, Kaushal Melas for youth registration in new skill development training (PMKK/PMKVY), counseling sessions for job seekers and their parents, and skill exhibitions where SSCs display their training models, tools, and job roles are some of the supplementary activities offered by Rozgar Melas in addition to job placements.
