Scorpions will return to India to begin their "Coming Home" tour in Shillong

The legendary German rock band Scorpions will be returning to India after nearly twenty years since their last performance in 2008.

As part of their ‘Coming Home 2026’ tour, Scorpions are set to perform in Shillong on April 21 at JN Stadium for the first time.

They will continue their tour with a concert in Delhi-NCR on April 24 at HUDA Grounds.

Following that, Scorpions will perform in Bengaluru on April 26 at NICE Grounds. Their final show will occur in Mumbai on April 30 at Jio Gardens.

The band members have shared their enthusiasm about returning to India after such a lengthy hiatus.

Klaus Meine stated, “We are extremely thrilled to finally be touring India again after so long and can’t wait to connect with our numerous fans in India. The concerts will hold a special significance for us.”

Founder and guitarist Rudolf Schenker added, “Sixty years after the band’s inception, we’re bringing our ‘Coming Home’ concert to India. It will be a distinctive celebration for both our fans and us.”

Lead guitarist Matthias Jabs remarked, “Returning to India to perform again – particularly with our now-iconic ‘Coming Home’ concerts – will be both spectacular and unforgettable for us.”

Music enthusiasts can purchase tickets starting January 17th, 2026, exclusively through BookMyShow. The ticket sales will commence at 1 PM IST.

Founded in 1965 by Schenker, the Scorpions have released a total of 19 studio albums, featuring timeless hits like ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane’, ‘Still Loving You’, ‘Send Me an Angel’, along with other notable tracks including ‘Wind of Change’, ‘Love at First Sting’, ‘Blackout’, and ‘Crazy World’.
