Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked a number of international leaders who sent him and the Indian people greetings on the 79th Independence Day, which was celebrated on Friday.

PM Modi emphasized that New Delhi appreciates “strategic partnership” with Paris and thanked French President Emmanuel Macron for his well wishes on India’s Independence Day.

PM Modi spoke to Male as New Delhi’s “valued neighbor” and “close partner” in their shared objective of peace, progress, and prosperity for the people of both countries while expressing gratitude to Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu.
