
Arun Srinivas has been named Managing Director and Head of Meta’s operations in India. This comes after Sandhya Devanathan assumed a more expansive role as the leader of Southeast Asia and India.
“Arun Srinivas has been appointed as the Managing Director and Head of Meta in India. In a statement, the IT giant said, “This comes after Sandhya Devanathan was recently announced to have taken on an expanded role of leading both India and South East Asia.”
In his new and enlarged position, Srinivas will continue to support Meta’s long-term business growth and dedication to India while concentrating on aligning the organization’s business, innovation, and revenue priorities to serve partners and clients.
In order to propel India’s market expansion, the tech behemoth stated that he will oversee the India charter and fortify the strategic ties with the nation’s top developers, advertisers, brands, and partners.
According to the corporation, he will continue to report to Devanathan and move into his new position on July 1, 2025.

Arun’s remarkable record of creating high-performing teams, advancing product innovation, and cultivating solid relationships makes him the perfect leader to propel Meta’s ongoing investment in India, where the company is setting the standard for AI use, WhatsApp, and Reels.
“As we grow the business in India, he will still collaborate closely with me,” Devanathan continued.
With almost thirty years of experience in sales and marketing executive positions at firms like Hindustan Unilever, Reebok, OLA, and investment firm WestBridge Capital, Srinivas is a postgraduate of IIM Kolkata.
He is the Director and Head of Ads Business in India at the moment. Since joining the firm in 2020, he has been instrumental in spearheading Meta’s efforts with the biggest advertisers and agency partners in the nation, concentrating on strategic revenue objectives like messaging, AI, and reels.
