The filmmakers of Daadi Ki Shaadi had announced its title and release date for the upcoming family drama starring Neetu Kapoor and Kapil Sharma.
The film, which is billed as a wholesome family amusement with drama and excitement, will hit theaters on May 8 of this year.

In addition to Neetu and Kapil playing the major roles, Daadi Ki Shaadi also introduces Neetu’s daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who is Ranbir Kapoor’s sister and an actor, to Bollywood.
Sadia Khateeb will also have a significant part in the eagerly awaited drama’s ensemble cast.
The producers also revealed a feel-good poster from the film, which announced the release date and odd title, offering viewers a sneak peek at this delightfully funny, unexpected, and irresistibly moving family entertainment.
Ashish R. Mohan wrote and directed Daadi Ki Shaadi, which Rtake Studios, BeingU Studios, and Shimla Talkies Production made.
Riddhima wrote a touching letter in May of last year, when the filming was finished, detailing her initial experience working in a Bollywood movie.
“Firsts are always special, because it’s those very ‘firsts’ that form the blueprint of the learnings we will carry for the rest of our lives,” she wrote.

Prior to this, Riddhima had a cameo role in Netflix’s Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, where she shared the screen alongside Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Neelam Kothari, and Bhavana Pandey.
