The filmmakers of Daadi Ki Shaadi had announced its title and release date for the upcoming family drama starring Neetu Kapoor and Kapil Sharma.

The film, which is billed as a wholesome family amusement with drama and excitement, will hit theaters on May 8 of this year.

In addition to Neetu and Kapil playing the major roles, Daadi Ki Shaadi also introduces Neetu’s daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who is Ranbir Kapoor’s sister and an actor, to Bollywood.

Ashish R. Mohan wrote and directed Daadi Ki Shaadi, which Rtake Studios, BeingU Studios, and Shimla Talkies Production made.

Riddhima wrote a touching letter in May of last year, when the filming was finished, detailing her initial experience working in a Bollywood movie.
